the guy who writes the guides
Italo Campilii
Every Trailhead Press book comes from a trail Italo actually walked — usually the hard way first.
Twenty-one years of forced curriculum
Italo battled Crohn's disease for 21 years, with frequent hospitalizations. That kind of illness is a brutal teacher: it forces you to understand your gut, your sleep, your stress, your food, and the products in your home — because getting it wrong has an immediate price. The health and non-toxic living guides in this library aren't research projects. They're field notes.
Built, not theorized
While managing his health, Italo built real companies — and each one became a shelf in this library:
- Acromatico — a photography studio, the source of the Photography & Creativity guides.
- Ecolosophy — a non-toxic home products company, behind the Health & Non-Toxic Living shelf.
- MentorMe — a mentorship education company, where the Business & Mentorship and Money guides come from.
Why Trailhead Press exists
Most advice books are written by people who studied a topic. These are written by someone who was cornered by it. Trailhead Press is Italo's way of leaving marked trails behind him — sixty of them so far — so the next person doesn't have to bushwhack.
He lives in Florida with his family, still writes every book himself, and still reads the trail reviews personally.
